Sufian
Here, Sufian is allowing me to use his image to create this portrait. The final painting is oil on canvas, 30" x 24" and hangs above his mirror in Oakland, CA where we were next door neighbors for six years.

Yoga Prescriptions
My attempts to notate range of motion exercises to bodywork clients so they might remember what the heck I did in the office.
My First Book
CHAKRA ODYSSEY: The Voyager Awakens to SPIN! --> A THROUGH-YOUR-OWN-HEAD-COLORING BOOK ADVENTUREI wanted to illuminate the subtle body system and start the conversation about the very real bio-electro-magnetic field that is us, around each of us, as well as the planet we live on and beyond!
Because talk of an individual aura or the collective aether is so often ridiculed, I wanted to start very pragmatically. I spent time looking at images by Ken Wheeler of magnets under a ferrel cell.
I used those images to visualize the field around Earth as a self-sourcing toroid with "realms" that are correlated to the weak and strong forces.
I anthropomorphised Aether, Earth, Sun, Moon and used dielectric acceleration to explain Earth's magnetism, which is irresistible to Aether, the "liquid creator," or essence that comprises everything.
I imagined the elements of the subtle body as "alien invaders" arriving to impregnate Earth.
Each element is birthed through realms of Earth's bio-electro-magnetic field to take their place on the surface of Earth as part of a whole. On the left panel the throat chakra is born. On the right panel they take their place with the others as their seed mantra rings out and their stats box is displayed.
Here is an example of the coloring pages included for elements of the subtle body. There is a mirror image to draw attention to the flow of energy within and without. I took the number of petals indicated in the yogic texts and made them into "spins," imagining the intersections as nodes in an atomic body. I imagined the face like a stained glass window with a view into the inner spinning.
I created downloadable versions of the coloring pages and a time lapse of some coloring. I thought I would sell them on Etsy. Not a single sale. Ha ha!
W.I.P.
I'd like to create a book for each dimension, or at least 9 to 11 of them.
Book Two
I'd like to add additional chakras and tell the story of all the things underground -- in a 2D world -- bugs, minerals, elementals. I experimented with ai generated images.
The "blue beings" come out in the Eastern sunrise window of our home in Colorado. The "red ladies" come out in the fire and embers we make in the southern wood-burning stove.
Book Three
I'd like to play with and write games of archetypes in the 3D world. Here, I have re-imagined sketches first done at Merritt College guild model workshops -- circa 2017. Each is as an icon, akin to the major arcana of the Tarot. I continued working the original pencil drawings with ballpoint pen, watercolor, ink and acrylic collage. 2018 - 2019
Here I've vectorized the icon and placed it in a background with the corresponding chakra toroid. I've added an affirmation, seed mantra, information about the chakra and a writing prompt to evoke reflection upon this specific chakra and its directive -- in this case, "I AM."
This third book might be a THROUGH-YOUR-OWN-HEAD JOURNALING ADVENTURE.
Meanwhile, back at the Chakra Odyssey website . . .
I dream of creating self-development courses for folks going through dimensional shifts who might be labeled as mentally ill. I continue to believe that access to information empowers the people to live their healthiest life. This website began 2021 and is ongoing.
More ai experiments . . .
I imagined we are players on a game board. I used a Simpsons chess board as a starting point. The colors evoke a feeling of being trapped in a skewed existence -- trapped in a cartoon dimension.
I was very happy with the results. The process felt somehow collaborative, as if ai was working with me to create the images I wanted.
